Hello and Welcome!

Welcome to the Fighting CRC Podcast! I’m so excited that you chose to check out my little blog. I’m a survivor of stage IIIc colorectal cancer (CRC) and recently decided to get involved to bring awareness to colorectal cancer, provide valuable insight and information as well as give hope to those who have no hope.

I was just declared cancer free in August (2018) so, I don’t wanna get too excited but, I kinda am. 😉 So, I just had my first [six month] colonoscopy since my ileostomy reversal surgery back in August (and being declared cancer-free) and everything came back nice and clean.

I’m still on some meds and am suffering from severe nerve damage (neuropathy) and walk with a cane. But hey, who cares right…..I’m alive! And at the end of the day, that’s all that matters….I mean, the alternative was death so…..

I went into this fight with one goal in mind, to beat cancer…..and with a positive attitude, and the support from friends and family, I did just that.
