About the Show

My colorectal cancer podcast is all about bringing awareness to colorectal cancer and providing information and resources to colorectal cancer patients, caregivers and healthcare providers.

March is colorectal cancer awareness month but I aim to bring awareness year-round while providing valuable information to those newly diagnosed, people going through the fight and, providing a place where caregivers and healthcare providers can receive invaluable information to assist those going through this hellish journey.

As a survivor of stage IIIc colorectal cancer, I can provide real-world insight into the fight for life and although every cancer patient is different, there is plenty we all can relate to whether it’s the radiation treatments, chemotherapy options, surgery options and recovery.

So when it comes to this podcast, I want to take a proactive approach to fighting CRC and invite those who can provide insight, knowledge and first-hand experiences to patients, caregivers and providers so that we can all use the information and apply what they’ve learned in some way.
